Application: How to Put On Jamberry Nail Wraps
Simple Step by Step Method for Long Lasting Nail Wraps
by Amber Laplante
How to Apply Jamberry Nail Wraps

This page is dedicated to nail wrap application. If you are struggling or just want a reminder of some of the application techniques, this page is for you.

There are many different ways to apply wraps & it can all get pretty confusing. When I started, I had a rough time because of the domed shape of my nails and because I had never done it before. I had bubbles, sizing issues, lifting tips and didn't know what to do with my hair straightener. I spent a lot of time researching, trying, failing and figuring it out.

I've taken the guesswork out of this seemingly complicated process for you by creating videos and a step-by-step guide with pictures to help you get it right the first time. Application does take a bit of practice, but when you show off your nails with pride, it will be so worth it.

By following my prep and application guides, your wraps will last up to 2 weeks on hands and 4 weeks on toes (maybe even longer like mine). Watch the videos and follow the steps on this page the next time you apply your wraps. And if you don't already have it, be sure to get my free Simple Steps Guide. Click HERE.

Before Application, you MUST Prep Your Nails Properly
The most important part of nail wrap application to get long lasting wraps is nail prep.

Jamberry's Mini Heater is Your Best Source of Even Heat for Quality Wrap Applications
Turn On Your
You need to have an even heat source because...

Remove the Wrap from the Clear Plastic Backing
Do NOT touch the sticky side with your fingers!!
You can use tweezers, an orange stick, or some other tool to keep the wrap's adhesive oil free.
Place the Wrap on Your Nail
Do you heat your wraps before you put them on your nails?
Leave a Sliver of Bare Nail
Remember to leave a sliver of bare nail on both sides of the wrap because if your skin touches the wrap, it will lift off.
Try to get the wrap as close as you can to your pushed back cuticle making sure no part of the wrap is touching your skin.

The bare nail blends in with your skin, so it is unnoticeable.
Press Down the Middle,
Then Down the Sides
Use a Cuticle Pusher
After pushing the wrap well,
use the HPPR Method
(see below)
The HPPR Method
This method will help you get your wraps smooth
Get rid of your wraps' bubbles, pleats, and wrinkles!
Trim & File, the Right Way
After your wrap has been placed, heated, pressed, pulled and stretched, allow it to cool before trimming the excess with nail scissors, nail clippers or just filing with a nail file.

It's important to know when, how, and why to file your nail using specific techniques.
Just remember to heat, press, pull, press and repeat as needed
Because Jamberry wraps come in different finishes and there are many different nail types, you may find certain types of finishes are easier to apply than others.

No matter what your nail type, you can have beautiful long lasting wraps that you adore!

Enjoy wearing your amazing wraps for up to two weeks!

Happy wrapping!
